When I started Daisy-Bella, I thought I was creating clothing with meaningful messages.

I believed words mattered. I believed a simple phrase on a t-shirt could remind someone they're stronger than they think, kinder than they know, or worthy just as they are.

I still believe that.

What I never expected was the community that would grow because of it.

This past weekend reminded me of that.

One of my favorite moments happened completely by chance.

I looked over and there was Barb, wearing Daisy-Bella.

I was wearing Daisy-Bella too.

Neither of us planned it, but there we were—laughing because we had unknowingly shown up twinning. It made for a fun picture, but what stayed with me wasn't the matching shirts.

It was the feeling behind the moment.

Throughout the weekend, I met women from every walk of life. Some shared stories that made me smile. Others shared things that touched my heart. Every conversation reminded me why I started this journey in the first place.

Yes, I print every shirt myself.

Yes, I spend countless hours designing, printing, packing, steaming, and preparing for every event.

But those things aren't what fill my heart.

The people do.

When someone reads a message on a shirt and quietly says, "That's me," something special happens.

When someone returns wearing Daisy-Bella from a previous event, I realize this little dream has become part of their life, too.

When women I've never met greet me like an old friend, I know this has never really been about clothing.

It's about connection.

To everyone who has stopped by my booth, shared a story, offered encouragement, worn Daisy-Bella, or simply smiled as they walked past...

Thank you.

You haven't just embraced Daisy-Bella.

You've embraced me.

As a one-woman business, there are days when I wonder if I'm doing enough. Then weekends like this happen, and I'm reminded that success isn't always measured in numbers.

Sometimes it's measured in conversations.

In laughter.

In kindness.

In unexpected moments like twinning with Barb.

Those moments remind me that Daisy-Bella is becoming exactly what I always hoped it could be.

A place where women encourage one another.

Where kindness is shared.

Where a simple shirt can start a conversation.

And where complete strangers can leave feeling a little less like strangers.

For that, I am incredibly grateful.

We woke up.
It's a very good day. 🌼
