If you’ve ever come across my booth at a local market here in Connecticut, you may have noticed something a little unusual.
I’m rarely standing behind my table.
I’m usually out front.
And more often than not, we probably aren't even talking about clothes. I might be telling a ridiculous story, cracking a silly joke, asking how your weekend is going — or somehow we've gotten completely off topic and are talking about life.
That happens a lot.
I step out from behind the table because I genuinely like getting to know people. It's one of my favorite parts of doing these events.
And in many ways, it's also the reason Daisy-Bella exists.
It Was Never Just About the Clothes
Of course I care about the clothes. Probably more than most people realize.
I care about how a tee feels. How it fits. How the print looks. I care about the little details most people will never see. Every Daisy-Bella piece is hand-printed and finished here in Connecticut, and every piece passes through my hands before it reaches yours.
Quality matters to me.
But quality was never the whole reason I started Daisy-Bella.
I wanted to create something that could make a woman feel good when she put it on — and do a little good beyond the woman wearing it.
Something with heart behind it.
Daisy-Bella Isn't for Everyone — And That's Okay
I say this at events all the time.
Daisy-Bella isn't going to be for everyone.
And I'm okay with that.
But if kindness matters to you... if you believe women should lift one another up... if you appreciate something made with care... if giving back matters to you...
then we probably have something in common.
Because those things are the heart of Daisy-Bella.
Every purchase helps support our mission of giving back to women and girls in need. That's been part of this from the beginning, and it always will be.
So when someone chooses a Daisy-Bella tee, sweatshirt or hoodie, yes, I want her to love how soft it feels. I want her to love the fit. I want her to reach for it again and again.
But I also want her to know there is something behind it.
That's My Why
I'm not interested in simply filling another hanger in your closet.
There are plenty of clothes in the world.
I want Daisy-Bella to mean a little more than that.
Maybe the words on your tee remind you of something you needed to hear that day.
Maybe someone sees Be Kind when you walk past and it makes them smile.
Maybe you simply feel comfortable, confident and completely yourself wearing it.
And quietly, that same purchase helps someone else.
That's the part that still gets me.
A tee can be just a tee.
But sometimes, it can be part of something bigger.
